Sustrans
Sustrans are the UK-based charity that make it easier for people to walk and cycle. They're strong advocates for safe cycling in the United Kingdom and contribute to the creation of places with clean air and green spaces, assist in the development of all official active travel policy and guidance, and are the custodians of the National Cycle Network. The latter is a UK-wide network of traffic-free & signed paths for everyone, connecting cities, towns and countryside, which you follow on some of our trips.

Cicerone
This publisher on the edge of England's Lake District, produces a range of nearly 400 guidebooks to walking, trekking, climbing, mountaineering and cycling.
The Cicerone guides are pocket-sized, with clear mapping and directions. Founded in 1969, hard work and attention to detail is put into the guides by the team and authors who love the regions they write about. Each guide is meticulously edited and the best possible maps are developed. The Cicerone production team have crafted over 200 guidebooks which you can find in their webshop.
